MS is a lifelong, often invisible condition that affects the central nervous system. From the outside, someone may look fine, but the reality can include severe fatigue, mobility challenges, pain, and other symptoms that make daily life incredibly difficult. MS affects more than 33,000 Australians, and three out of four newly diagnosed are women. There is currently no cure.
That’s why we’re here. At the MS Society SA & NT, our mission is to ensure every person with MS can live well and independently.
Funds raised from the MS Cash for a Cause Lottery help us deliver crucial, specialised services including:
- Access to MS nurses for medication and treatment support
- Vital client services
- Social support and wellbeing programs
- Education, advocacy, and tailored resources
