MS Society SA & NT set to trial new pricing structure

The MS Society SA & NT will be trialling a new service pricing structure, effective from 19 May 2025. This is our first adjustment in several years and brings our pricing in line with current NDIS and industry standards. These changes will help ensure the long-term sustainability of our services for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

After careful consideration, our Board of Directors has made the difficult but necessary decision to revise our fee structure to ensure we can continue providing high-quality, specialised services to our community for years to come.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on a mix of government funding, generous community donations, philanthropic support, and service revenue to provide the high-quality, personalised care our clients deserve. This trial reflects rising operational costs and helps us continue delivering the essential services that so many in our community rely on.

Importantly, our core support services, including MS Nursing and support for those newly diagnosed, remain free of charge. Other services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and group programs will now follow standard NDIS pricing.

We remain committed to ensuring services remain accessible to all. Multiple funding pathways are available to clients, including the NDIS, My Aged Care, private health insurance, and Medicare rebates. For those without full funding, we continue to provide significant co-contributions and have financial hardship provisions in place.

Clients were informed directly ahead of these changes, and our MS Assist team is available to support individuals in understanding their funding options and accessing the help they need.

This trial is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, specialised care to people living with MS across South Australia and the Northern Territory, and to making sure these vital services remain available for many years to come.
